Seafood restaurant: Anna Maria Oyster Bar. Be sure to order their award-winning Lobster Bisque.

Deli: Harry’s Deli. My favorite spot to get a delicious lunch.

Grocery store: Fresh Market.

Ice cream shop: Sweet Berries Eatery & Frozen Custard. Tastes just like premium ice cream! Visit their flavor calendar to see what they’re serving up today.

Nature attraction: Celery Fields or Myakka River for photographing birds and animals.

Beach:  Longboat Key

Water activity: Scuba, snorkeling and fishing.

Museum/gallery: Ringling Museum.

Movie theater: Regal Oakmont 8. This theater has comfy recliner seats and reserved seating.

Event:  Migration of the snowbird.

Tourist attraction: Venice Beach for shark’s tooth hunting.

Sunset or sunrise? Sunset.

Locally-made product you love? Richey’s Chocolates in Bradenton. One of the few candy shops in America offering hand-made chocolates.

Worth the drive: Tarpon Springs. Visit Greece without leaving Florida
