Exciting Developments at Florida Vacation Connection
Exciting Developments at Florida Vacation Connection
We are thrilled to announce that Florida Vacation Connection (FVC) has undergone significant enhancements in our core systems, market trend data software, and most recently, our team. These improvements reflect our unwavering commitment to consistently exceed owner and guest satisfaction while positioning ourselves as the premier provider of short-term rentals in this dynamic industry.
Last year, we made a substantial investment in a cutting-edge business platform that has equipped us with top-tier property management, reservation, and market trend analysis capabilities. Since its launch, we have been continuously refining this platform to offer real-time information and reporting, further streamlining communication with our valued owners and guests.
As part of our ongoing evolution, we have some important updates regarding our team:
First, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sue VanDiver, who will be retiring at the end of August after 25 years of invaluable service. Sue has been instrumental in training her successor, John Stutsman, over the past four months to ensure a seamless transition. John will now take on the role of Guest Services Agent and call center expert, where he will work closely with our owners and guests to enhance their experience. We will miss Sue greatly and wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
Jeff Merkle has decided to pursue other interests and will be leaving FVC at the end of August. Lindsy Kruse, who recently joined us, will assume Jeff’s responsibilities. As our new Client Experience Manager, Lindsy will be the primary point of contact and advocate for our owners, handling rates, unit pricing, market trends, and property marketing while also overseeing reservations. Lindsy has worked closely with Jeff the past few weeks, and we thank him for his dedication over the past two years, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
We are also excited to welcome Mark Dellamano to our team. Mark joined FVC in June 2024 and brings a wealth of experience. He is now responsible for maintenance, facilities, housekeeping, vendor management, and property improvement and safety. Working alongside Mark, Gary Shelton serves as our Maintenance Lead, ensuring that all properties are operational, safe, and well-maintained while effectively managing expenses on behalf of our owners.
With these team enhancements, we are confident that we are better positioned than ever to elevate our services, improve communication, and optimize expense management, all while maximizing property occupancy. The combined efforts of Mark, Lindsy, John, and Gary will drive key initiatives with a strong focus on owner and guest satisfaction.
As the owner of FVC, I remain involved in the day-to-day operations and committed to our homeowners, guests, and team. I would also like to thank our bookkeeper Cindy Steiner who has been with the company for twenty years and remains dedicated to our homeowners, co-workers, and vendors. Lastly, thank you to Dallas Green who remains part-time with FVC and supports reservations. Dallas has been with the company for almost 25 years!
We appreciate our clients’ loyalty and support and thank you for your business. We are at your service!
