Beachplace – The Perfect Place!

Welcome To Beachplace

Whether a seasonal Snowbird, or a family seeking a summer getaway, Beachplace Condominiums are a favorite among repeat guests looking for a beachfront oasis on Longboat Key!

Beachplace, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, is one of many properties built in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s that helped mold the island as a leading U.S. residential and travel destination.  Beachplace sits on a beautifully landscaped 31-acre parcel that has a lagoon with fountains, wide open green spaces and a 1,400-foot private beachfront.  Eleven, six story buildings, are home to 336 individually owned residential condos.

The various amenities at Beachplace promote a socially active and family-oriented atmosphere. The condominium’s first-rate leisure facilities include an updated clubhouse with an entertainment room, an Jr. Olympic-size swimming pool with a dedicated lap area, a separate baby pool, four tennis courts and a fitness center.  Besides providing direct beach access, the condo units also afford picturesque water views, particularly the choice upper floor residences which overlook the Gulf to the west as well as Sarasota Bay towards east.

Something For Everyone

Snowbirds bring the property alive every winter as repeat guests reunite with neighbors who have become friends over the years.  The friendly atmosphere and exciting calendar of social events makes it easy for first-time seasonal guests to make fast friends.  Guests visiting in the winter also have a great appreciation for brisk walks on the beach, swimming laps in the heated pool, and taking advantage of so many off-site nature preserves for bird-watching and hiking.

Summer guests are typically families with children out of school looking for a place to make memories away from the crowds and commercialism of other Florida tourist attractions.  Not to mentions how the warm Gulf of Mexico water makes summer swimming a delight! The shaded baby pool next to the much larger swimming pool gives the little ones a little more freedom to play and Mom & Dad a little more piece of mind when it comes to pool safety.  There are less people in and out of the facility in the summer, less noise for nap time and plenty of room in the elevators for strollers and all of the other baby and child gear that typically accompanies traveling families.  While summer is considered “off-season” for many Longboat Key restaurants, all the favorites are still open and welcoming guests with little to no wait time.

If you ask any of the locals what their favorite season is Florida is, their response will typically be the Fall.  The summer humidity dissipates leaving dry, yet sun kissed temperatures, perfect for naps on the beach and hours of reading on the balcony.  It’s very quiet on Longboat Key during the fall months.  Whether it’s a long walk on the beach, or taking in the splendid harvest sunsets, there is no better time of year than the fall to have full access to the solidarity and peacefulness Beachplace has to offer guests.  Most recently, we have had quite a bit of interest from guests able to work remotely looking to take advantage of deeply discounted off-season rates.  Talk about an office with a view!

We invite you to view all the Beachplace listings Florida Vacation Connection manages on our website.  If your dates aren’t available, please contact us in the office to discuss what units we are in the process of adding to our inventory that may work for your budget and ideal time to visit.
