Well equipped place to stay and directly on the beach!

The property is fantastic if you're looking to stay directly on the beach, and it's very well-equipped for making your own meals. The only downside is that while staying at the Longboat Key Club, you are permitted to use the pool and beach but cannot purchase food or drinks on-site. This was stated in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise, but I do think there should be a workaround. For example, if you're at the pool and want to order a beverage, you cannot charge it to your room or pay by credit card—you need a member number. This becomes especially problematic since outside food and beverages are not allowed. A great place to stay and I would recommend to a friend.

Everything you could need

Perfect for an extended weekend. This place has it all - beautiful views, right on the beach and next to the pool! The condo is well decorated, furniture is comfortable , and appliances all work well. Owner thought of all the little extras - fan, well appointed kitchen, and extra towels and blankets. Much better than a hotel room and very homey. We were very comfortable here and felt very safe in this gated community.

Classy, comfortable, and top quality

This is my 4th time staying at this property, and I love it! Spacious and comfortable with a view that cannot be surpassed, this is my favorite place to be when visiting Longboat Key. It’s always spotless upon arrival; the furnishings and appliances are classy, comfortable, and top quality. We spent most days enjoying our coffee and meals sitting outside on the balcony, just enjoying the sounds of the water and Zen views of the sand and surf! Will be back every year, as long as this place is here and available!

Relaxing vacation

Best location on Longboat Key!

We loved our place except for the TV. Perfect for 2 people, magnificent views of palms, beach, water and sunsets- what more could we want?! Also the best location anyone could have on Longboat! All the staff that we would see would greet us and seemed to be happy to have us there! I believe the restaurants, etc. would do very well accepting renters for their businesses but we never had a problem finding great places to eat for sure . Their loss!!! We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay..thank you…

The owner really understands how to design a renter-friendly environment! The sofa bed is superior to any we've used before. Appreciated the labeling of lights and controls, simple decor, and spot-on furnishings. Jeff, especially, went to great lengths to correct the issues we had with the first unit, and allow us to move to the second unit with no additional penalty. Beautiful private beach next to inlet and flocks of birds. The rental does NOT include access to club golf, tennis, resteraunts. Umbrellas are an extra $15/day. The water is clear almost no waves. (We did start our visit during a red tide with some smell and a couple dead fish) Otherwise the white sand was great with a tractor fluffing up at least once a week. There are small shells to collect. The pool and hot tub were also great. Minor issues we had sugar ants in the room, we are responsible for taking care of garbage but dumpster at another building. The place is very well furnished and neighbors were few. On Saturday evening and Sunday night weddings were seen from balcony. The later one ended at 11:00 pm. Location to other activities is good.

The view from this balcony is everything! It couldn't be any better! The condo was beautiful… CLEAN, and inviting. It was a very spacious, cozy, comfortable place to be. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was neat and organized. If I had something negative to say, it would probably be the tub/shower situation. The shower is behind a glass wall that doesn't move, so you have to take the shower head down before adjusting your water temp… otherwise you get soaked. But that's it! The grounds were beautiful, the Security guards were so very nice and ensured we knew where to go. I will definitely stay at this property again.
