Award winning Chef Paul Mattison has created one of Florida's best steakhouses, Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza on Longboat Key. This New Classic Steakhouse is a favorite with locals and visitors alike. Enjoy traditional steakhouse entrées and signature seafood selections in the warm
and charming dining room. Entrées are served complete, with the main dish accompanied by vegetables, a side dish, homemade sauces and garnish. This is not "just a steak on a plate", this is the traditional steakhouse in an elegant yet Florida-casual atmosphere. Boasting more than 1,000 bottles of fine wine stowed in a unique wine cellar just beneath the foyer floor, Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza hosts a happy hour from 5 - 7pm at the piano bar in our Fireplace Lounge with live music nightly (Tue-Sun) from 7pm until closing. Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza caters private parties in our dining room and wine cellar. Mattison's Catering Company has extensive off site catering experience.
